Art And the Cycle of Life
Art has been widely used to depict the cycle of life. According to the life cycle, life begins at birth and ends at death. Therefore, most of the artwork depicting the cycle of life represents death and birth. An example of such art is the "zoom into the birth of Venus," which depicts the first stage of life, which is birth, and the "death in the sick room," which depicts the final stage of the life cycle is death. These two artworks have various similarities and differences, which qualify them to be important works depicting the life cycle.
The main similarity between the two artworks is their titles. The authors have named each of these works to offer an insight into the meaning of the artwork. For instance, the birth of Venus literally means the birth stage of the life cycle. The artwork shows a naked woman, which depicts the state in which people are born. The "death in the sickroom" literally means the death of the motif that has been sick for a long and finally dies while sitting on the chair. Such shows that the final stage of life is death, and once someone has died, they can no longer enjoy the company of the living. 
The main difference between the two artworks is the items that the authors have placed on the paintings.
