1 Frederick W. Taylor’s theory of scientific management is critical in improving the effectiveness in the workplace. The theory entails breaking the work process into small units to determine the most efficient method of doing a particular assignment. The theory is relevant even today because it helps management to identify the best of doing a particular task hence handle such duties in a predetermined way which improves efficiency.
2 I would find it easy to work for a manager who practices Taylor’s theory. Such a manager would identify the best approach to doing the work and train me on how to do the job.
3 Managers should create a pleasant working environment to help the employees reduce stress. The décor should be attractive and the layout suitable for the type of the job.
