Information technology is one of the growing industries that have a very great demand. Most of the industries are trying to adjust to that by establishing their own in house information technology department to assist other departments of the organization that require integration of I.T. Technology has facilitated faster execution of tasks in an organization hence there is efficiency in the duties accomplished. There has also been wind of change taking place hence most of the organizations do not want to be left behind to the change that is taking at the moment so that they can keep the pace with time. FMB&T has an information technology department to assist in the organization`s needs. The department chaired by Ayishia as the chief information officer. Ayishia is quite frustrated by a number of issues in the in I.T department. One of them is lack of concise established relation of the information technology department and other organizational departments. The aspect has led to inefficient output from the department, strained relations between the departments where they fail to understand each other and a lot of entire confusion within the entire organization. At the end of the day, the particular target of the departments is not meant leading to lagging behind within the organization. The other frustration is the lack of personnel whose role will be herding all the units of the organization to ensure that they coexist harmoniously. Such personnel will assist the departments to be able to handle each other with hence work towards achieving the organization goals. The other point is that other departments of the organization expect so much from the Information technology department which is quite unachievable in some scenarios. Ayishia gives an instance where a problem is presented about relating certain account with investment which is supposed to be solved within a day. There is also a situation where the organization has a problem presented by one department but the problem has spread across different departments hence attention of the affected areas is required. The departments fail to consider the fact that perfect comprehension of the problem will thereby assist in deriving a perfect workable solution. The time span also expected for the completion of the task is quite little hence the department is not in a position to develop quite comprehensive solutions. The other frustration is that the members of staff of the information technology department expect to come up with new workable strategies that are assisting the organization to accomplish its goals though it seems quite impossible. The staffs want their contribution towards the organization achievement recognized via visible steps taken.
