Technology Overcomes Customer Service. Business & Marketing Case Study
According to the course syllabus, you must submit a 400-word paper on AI, IT, CRM and related matters by the 26th of April. The challenge is to combine at least three topics in the paper, meaning -for example- block chain, data mining and AI or the three mentioned above, AI, IT and CRM, any combination, by either using ONE case study (citing your source) or THREE cited academic references (articles). This gives you two options, the practical and the theoretical. Use your recent posts on IT to get some orientation or to follow through on a given topic. The structure of the paper should be the following:
Introduction
The Case or the Theory (the essence of your topic)
Discussion (critiques or pros and cons)
Conclusions and recommendations

You have two choices plus an alternative:
Case study: choose one company that is integrating at least three IT methods and write about it following the outline.
Theory: choose three articles that cover IT tools and review them in an integrated manner (not separately), following the outline.
Crisis collapse: write how the Covid 19 pandemia has affected companies in trying to apply IT tools.

Living in this era, almost everything you do includes technology. The industry has its way to include technology and reduce the manpower. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Information Technology (IT), and Computer Related Management (CRM) are just a few examples of the technology used in businesses. According to Turing, Artificial Intelligence is a branch of Computer Science that builds machines that perform a task that needs human intelligence and research digs deeper into its subject, the machine may do more than people can think in the industry. Defined by Styler, Information Technology is another way of solving the businesses’ problems easier with the help of technology. Wide problems can easily be solved with this technology and the industry will struggle if it does not have an IT. Hargrave said that CRM or Customer Relationship Management is the way that the company follow the rules when their people interact with the customers. This also gathers the information of the customer to keep a good relationship.
Some businesses took an experiment; eliminating some personnel that earns a low salary and has limited interpersonal skills in exchange for using artificial intelligence when interacting with the customer, just like what Shacklett said.
