How Fossil Fuels Trigger Climate Change?

Case Study Instructions:

Please read the attached introductions carefully and write a case study paper by using SIMPLE WORDS GRAMMAR, AND SENTENCES. DON'T makes it too complicated. You may use 2 references from short articles( by using google not books)
The paper should contain analysis, in your own words, of the issue. Follow the case guideline questions below, and answer them analytically – this means answering how and why questions. You do not have to answer all the questions or structure the paper answering one question after another, but these are key areas to touch on. Do NOT just describe the issue, repeating the assigned articles – I want to see your analysis and argument. The key to a good grade is to demonstrate your understanding of the concepts (such as market failures, ethical theories etc.) by discussing and analyzing the case in relation to the readings.
The case can also include the following elements (but the case guidelines for each case, below, are primary):
a) the origin and evolution of the issue
b) a description of the major stakeholders, their interests, and the institutions involved
c) explain how theory and concepts from the course are relevant to the issue
d) analyze the key points of contention, applying the theory where appropriate
e) evaluate some managerial and policy options
The key task is to demonstrate understanding of the issue, the relevant theory, the public debate, dilemmas for managers, and to come up with a coherent structure for a paper. Case guideline questions will be provided for each case. You are expected to conduct some limited further research for the issue briefs, and use 2-3 relevant sources, which should be cited. Be sure to discuss different perspectives (e.g. is globalization positive or negative for economic growth and inequality?), and you can insert your own voice as well. But be sure to explain WHY you take a particular position.
Explain the market failures that are leading to excessive emissions of greenhouse gases and causing climate change. Be sure to discuss the ‘tragedy of the commons’ and externalities, the role of prices as signals to consumers and companies, and the costs and benefits of taking action. Bring in concepts from the readings to discuss the topic. What are some potential approaches to addressing the problem? Is there a case for taxes or regulations on activities that cause climate change? Are there incentives for private companies to take action in their own interest? Should the government support the clean energy sector to address climate change, and will this hurt or boost the economy?

Climate Change
The introduction of fossil fuels results in abrupt changes in environmental conditions. The negative effects posed on the surrounding leads to severe consequences of climate change on human lives. Although the people carrying out the activities may reap various benefits, the processes affect the global economic growth negatively. The profits made can't match the adverse effects of economic activity on the environment (Supran and Oreskes). Regardless of the efforts put by various companies to continue with the activity, the only way to avoid climate change is by banning the production process and use of fossil fuels. The affected individuals can create other methods of earning living and alternate resources. The excellent way of achieving optimal conditions in the environment is the eradication of the emission resulting in climate change.
The emission of greenhouses gases by various gas companies results in adverse effects on the environment. The negative impacts trigger high levels of climate change. The issue is growing to escalated levels, making the earth an inhabitable place not only for man but also for all living things. Climate change has raised the attention of some individuals in the world. According to (Supran and Oreskes), a group of three communities in California sued most of the oil, gas, and coal manufacturing companies for environmental pollution. The firms had contributed to high levels in the sea. The companies carried out their daily production activities without caring about the impacts of the waste products on the environment. Although most companies can create defense aspects against the cases of contribution to climate change, it's evident that the oil, coal, and gas-producing firms affect environmental stability adversely.
Some companies like Exxon Mobil have a wide knowledge of ideas about the effects of greenhouse gases on climate change but they conceal the information and lie to the general public on the harmless nature of their activities to the environment. Such firms exploit both consumers and employees by using the two groups to promote the benefits of their production processes. Although human beings need some of the produced commodities for comfortable lives, the adverse effects of climate change can justify the choice of having a healthy environment over the fulfillment of some mere needs. Destroying the environment will render people homeless as individuals will not survive in the global warming environment (Supran and Oreskes). Companies should implement various measures to minimize the high levels of climate change by avoiding further deposition of the ozone layer.
Exxon Mobil has also the value of its oil reserves a secret, unlike other companies. Most of the shareholders in the company have worked without knowing the exact amounts of their values and this aspect proves exploitation of the group. The company is diligently draining the people surrounding its operations in many ways, not mention the pollutants disposed of in the environment. However, the company responded to the issues by claiming that the aired issues are false allegations. Taking the account of the shareholders and the public in making false accusations does not add up...
