* Family:
1 Parents
Daniels father is considered an alcoholic who spent the better part of his life in institutions to reverse his problem. His mother is mentioned to have tried her best in supporting her family. However, she was overwhelmed by her challenges in drinking including physical abuse from her husband. Daniel like his other sibling was left to take care of himself, a factor that resulted in a positive relationship with his grandmother who raised him. Daniel was forced to move to the city when his grandmother died since he needed to find a better life for himself.

Daniel has an older brother and sister who grew up with him in an environment that was considered as abusive and infested by the aspect of poverty.

Daniel lives with her girlfriend who is pregnant with his own child and has two other children from other relationships. The children are aged 1 and 2, with Daniel required to help his wife Angela with the kids. However, it is vital to note that Daniel does not always feel comfortable with the two kids who are not his and finds excitement with the baby Angela is yet to deliver.
4 Resources and Expectations of Family
Daniel was raised in a very challenging environment that was inhibited by poverty and physical abuse from the parents. Daniels parents struggled with alcohol and could not raise their family, a factor that saw Daniel raised by a grandmother who latter passed on. This forced Daniel to move to the city in search of greener pastures. On the other hand, Daniel has a number of cousins and uncles who reside in the city and act as a main source of support to him. However, Daniel and his girlfriend Angela are engaged in an off and on relationship that is marred by the abuse of drugs and alcohol.
* Education and Work Experience
1 Education:
Daniel is a school dropout who reached his 9th grade and has no skills in reading and writing. On the other hand, Daniel suffers from borderline ADHD and has been considered for an upgrading program. Daniel therefore considers this as an opportunity for him to better his life since he has not been good at school and is worried that he may not make it in life.
2 Work Experience
Daniel has over time attempted to find a source of employment with no success as a result of his limited skills and inadequate job experience. However, Daniel does some occasional work that supports his needs, with an extra income drawn from some of the work he does for his cousins who are primarily involved in aboriginal gangs. He has been engaged in the selling of drugs and storing of weapons for this gang.
