SUBJECT: THE OHIO LAW THAT IS SUPPOSED TO PREVENT COLUMBUS CREW SC FROM LEAVING OHIO, COLUMBUS.
Recently the Columbus Crew SC is planning to leave Columbus and this might cause the company to lose significant revenue. The manager at Recreations sports Ventures, a Columbus, Ohio based sporting organization is in charge of laying off people in the company who are affected to leave the Columbus. The case was filled at Franklin County, Ohio concerning the Crew SC’s potential move (O'Bannon, McCann, & Schaap, 2018). Part A represents the Columbus Organization (plaintiff) and Party B is the Columbus Crew SC (Defendant) and they will progress to the United States District Court. Civil cases in the district court are governed by the Federal Rules of the civil procedures through the significant constitutional amendments in 2007. All states have similar laws in the State court systems. According to Federal Rules of Civil Procedures, both parties and the court should administer and construe this rule in order to make the case speedy, inexpensive and just.

He said the relocation of the club is not the first choice and people were upset, but that did not give any credit to allow the state to keep the defendant from relocating. The lawyers presented their arguments for two hours but Judge Jeffrey Brown did not make any ruling. He concluded that take the arguments under the advertisements with a decision that was written as soon as it was practical. The law states that when the owners of a team make the decision of moving the team to another city, then they must issue a notice at least six months and give the local community the opportunity to purchase the team. The team argued that the Modell Law did not apply because they did not use tax-supported facilities for their home games and that they did not receive any financial support from the federal government. Ruskin said that the purpose of the constitution was to ensure there is a free flow of goods between different states in the country
The following are some of the constitutional issues were raised in the pleadings,
