Banner Healthcare organization meets its patient’s health and medical needs through the inclusion of outstanding services through its compassionate professionals. With its headquarters based in Phoenix Arizona, the facility is considered as one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare systems in the state, hence making it a leading hospital service in all the communities it serves. Banner, therefore, provides regional facilities through its branches that serve several rural regions, with many of these establishments being inpatient institutions that are available within these communities.
In 2015, Banner Healthcare merged its operations within the University of Arizona Health Network in Tucson. The backbone of this merger was strategized to enhance academic medicine, teaching, research, and patient care across the institution's facilities. The medical facility remains the largest employer of 50,000 employees, making it the state’s largest employer. Given this, it is necessary to establish that Banner Healthcare institution if one of the leading not-for-profit employers in several communities it serves. This paper seeks to assess Banner healthcare’s readiness to network in addressing the healthcare needs of the population it serves over the next decades. Banner health care institution provides comprehensive health care services that benefit several thousands of its clients. The medical facilities commitment is pegged on improving the health and wellness of patients through an approach driven towards motivating health ownership. Building on this principle of ensuring consumers to their services are accountable and empowered; the facility stands at a position to help its employees and stakeholders make moves towards taking ownership of their individual's health plans (Agwunobi & Osborne, 2016).
