This week you are to develop your own case study based on an ethical situation you have encountered. This may be a situation you experienced with a past or current employer, as part of a volunteer experience, or within a community group. In this situation describe the role played by any of the key areas discussed previously in this course, including:

organizational culture
training and communication
Prepare a 2-3 page paper on this ethical situation you faced in your workplace (corporate, small business, non-profit, government agency, etc.).

2. Discuss a DETAILED plan to best correct the ethical issue.
Writing a Case - FORMAT
A well-written case provides an opportunity for others to learn from your experiences. The focus of the case is on the challenge faced at the critical decision point. I suggest you organize your paper into the following sections:
Describe the situation (The key is to include all relevant details and avoid irrelevant information.)

Describe the outcome
Propose an alternate solution(s)

Ethical Approach on Business Decisions Student’s Name Institutional Affiliation Introduction Business ethics contains different practices that are carried out in a company and they are different in various organizations. Ethics and morals in an organization are determined by the perception of the stakeholders of that organization which are regulated by the company’s organization culture or the beliefs of the people in the organization. From time to time there is occasional conflict between company’s hunger for profit and doing what is right in association to human characteristics. I worked for a pharmaceutical company best known for providing a great percentage of drugs in the world and mostly because of its manufactured drug commonly known as KRILLS. The company is a large corporation that astonished me by its values and the lengths the managers are willing to close to rectify a mistake. There was great cooperation between employees and managers aiming to reach all their consumers and educate them on a mistake done. Krills is a drug manufactured to help patients with their blood pressures. When the drug was introduced in the market it excelled well because of its working capability. However, as time passed a there was an increased rate of feedback that the drug caused hallucinations to all the patients who had used it. The head of the manufacturing department decided to investigate why the drug was causing the side effects which were not accounted for. During his research, he discovered that there was an additional ingredient in the drug which caused the hallucinations. The extra ingredient was supposed to be used for another drug but one of the employees responsible for mixing the ingredients had misinterpreted and confused the steps which caused the production to go wrong. A board meeting was called instantly after the discovery of the incident. The manager came together to discuss and decide what steps to take and rectify the mistake. After several meetings by the board of directors, a memo was released for everyone in the organization to meet at the multipurpose hall.
