The stories about creation from different perspectives offer an opportunity for people to address the persistent question of the origin of life. Reading these stories creates more confusion because of the already established beliefs I have about creation. In this light, these stories confirm my suspicion that the origin of life and the universe are not clearly understood across different communities. Comparing the stories shows that no matter the beliefs people have about creation, a supreme being or gods are central to how creation happens. Additionally, reading the stories triggers thoughts about the scientific aspects that explain how the world can to be what it is. The differences in the creation stories make the scientific perspective more appealing because it is based on facts that can be proved. Nevertheless, I felt that these stories are meant to satisfy the human spiritual needs and drive away the fears of what we do not understand. Furthermore, the beliefs I hold about creation are satisfactory to explain things that lack scientific evidence.
I argue that the stories present god(s) in different perspectives in the context of being just and moral. Suggestively, there some actions by the god(s) that do not fit as being just and moral. For instance, why would the creator need sacrifices from people in exchange for favors? At the same time, the creators get credit for giving people existence as well as the things that sustain them. From another perspective, meeting the regulations inspired by the creator help...
