Introduction
The white boy shuffle is a novel written Paul Beatty, and it talks about a young African- American man who wishes to find his identity (Leader-Piccone, 208). The young black man stays with the mother and sisters in California which is an area mostly dominated by the whites. At one time the young man and his sisters were requested to attend a camp that was attended by mostly the black children. They told their mother that they wouldn’t participate in as the other black children were different from them. Their mother on hearing that moved them to the hillside which is a place dominated by blacks.
