Book Review: Mountains beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder. (Book Review Sample)

Pick a book to read about Haiti. Suggestions include anything written about Haiti by Paul Farmer, Mountains beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder. I would even let you read Teach Yourself Haitian Creole by Yeral E. Ogando or Creole Made Easy by Wally R. Turnbull.
Using APA format, write a book report. The book report should include:
Why you chose this book?
From what point of view is the book written?
Do you agree or disagree with the author’s point of view?
What is the author’s thesis or “common thread”?
Is there footnotes? Additional information? Do they clarify or extend points made in the text?
What sources did the author use? [ Primary? Secondary?]
What did you learn about Haiti?

Be sure to include title, author, publication date, edition, number of pages
Start with an introduction and end with a conclusion
Your conclusion should summarize, perhaps include a final assessment. Do not introduce new material at this point.
Try to keep it to two pages, if possible. You don't need a reference page because the book's reference will be in your paper somewhere.
