Life after Life is a 2013 novel by Kate Atkinson and it explores the possibility of people resurrecting after death until they manage to get it right and fulfil their mission in life. The protagonist in the novel is Ursula Todd, who dies immediately she is born in 1910. However, Atkinson gives her an infinite number of lives, such that she is able to resurrect every time in order to fulfil her mission of saving the world (Atkinson, 2013). The novel is a fictional story that has been written in a narrative format and it engages the reader to think how life would be like every time there is a new start after the end of life.
