Loyalty in the context of this paper refers to the bond between the employer and employee in their duties, and their commitments to the organization they serve. There are three types of loyalty discussed by Heckscher. They include loyalty to an individual, corporate loyalty, and the loyalty that is demanded by a job. As a human being, I have experienced these different categories of loyalties. The first type of loyalty is loyalty towards my family members. As an accountant, I know that I am supposed to be loyal to my employer. This is the second category of loyalty I have experienced. I am devoted to the company where I work and I desire to serve the organization for a long time. This is corporate loyalty. Devotion and dedication enable me to perform my day to day routines especially when push comes to shove
