Ideally, cyber bullying is a form of hounding where the victims are attacked using the electronic technology platforms. Most of the platforms that are used in terms of hardware include computers, phones and tablets. This type of bullying takes the form of texts, pictures that are incriminating, videos and emails. These avenues are used in spreading rumors on the social media and other websites and are meant to cause embarrassment to the victims (Patchin & Hinduja, 2011).
