My brother&#8217;s love and loyalty to the country is infectious, and I can honestly say that I want to become an officer not just for the respect that comes with it, but because of a shared greater purpose rooted in duty, passion, and responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One particular trait that I share with my brother is innate leadership. I feel like I was born to lead people. As far back as I can remember, I would take initiative for a group project or just end up being the natural leader of a team. As a leader, I don&#8217;t like to waste time. I always like learning the objectives and the requirements right away so that I can guide my group mates from beginning to end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I set an environment where everyone is excited to accomplish their assigned tasks. It&#8217;s not so much the recognition I get at the end of leading people well that fulfills me.
