Perhaps the new technology era will be advantageous to the research subject. Ethnography is the study of social experiences via storytelling, and it can benefit from the use of technology. Technological advancements in the digital realm have the potential to expand ethnography's scope. Despite their prevalence or universality, these technologies' infiltration into common sociological study methods is restricted compared to the acceptance of online academic study engines.
Research Purpose and Overview
Clearly, the goal is to comprehend why digital age research is essential and how it relates to ethnography, but, digging further into the notion, research also suggests that ethical concerns, content, and the secrecy of ethnographic research will be investigated (Poulsen & Kvåle, 2018). Similarly, owing to the emergence of difficulties in the online world, researchers will need to discover a new approach to conduct an ethnographic, digital, and technical study in the following years.
