Without thinking of the ways in which technology is changing the work environment, managers will continue to use outdated methods to solve emerging problems. Such an approach is likely to lead to the death of the organization. In order to be successful, managers therefore have to incorporate key elements of succession planning into the work environment. In order for the organization to be successful, it is important to recognize that the employees are key components of the organization. This therefore calls for the management to put in place efficient measures to ensure that they hire and retain the best staff. The employees also need to be taught on how to use technology as it has an impact on their success as employees (Berger& Berger, 2018).
