Introduction
Extensive empirical research has been carried out on how children are influenced by being raised by parents with partners of the same sex. However, considering the study’s statement of purpose it becomes important to note that the objective of the study was to evaluate the impact of same-sex parents on their adolescent children in terms of psychosocial adjustments, school performance and their romantic relationships compared to adolescents raised by opposite-sex parents. The title of the article precisely states the subject of the paper since it outlines all the aspects to be evaluated among the adolescents and parents who are participants in this study. Moreover, the statements sequence in the introduction are all precisely leading to the purpose of the study by previewing previous empirical studies that have already been conducted in this area.
Methods
A review of the methods that were used in the study of this problem it is undoubtedly evident that they are highly related to the objective of the study. For instance, the methods of the study indicate that all variables are factored out in the study thus making them valid for studying this research problem.
