Overview of the study
The study is well developed relative to the fact that it is developed one of the topics that is not well evaluated in research. While the idea about replacing bad behavior in children with socially acceptable behavior is mentioned in a number of resources, there is not much in terms of research that has been developed to indicate its success as a tool (Carr & Durand, 1985). This study brings the significance of the approach as tool to behavior change.
Quality of research design
The research uses two experiments to evaluate the subject matter on the behavioral changes and how best to induce socially acceptable changes in the children. The first experiment successfully addresses the issue of behavior (Scientific Merit Rating Scale, 2014). In the second experiment, the research addresses the issue of replacing the behavioral challenges with socially acceptable behaviors. The experiments are sequential and thus making the entire research quite credible and proves the hypothesis, feeding into the current knowledge base on the topic.
Quality of dependent measure
A review of the dependent variable indicates that the research is quite satisfactory. This is relative to the fact that the research addresses the element of behavior change. In this case, the research paper addresses the issue of behavior change with reference to adopting socially acceptable changes (Scientific Merit Rating Scale, 2014).
Evidence of treatment fidelity
A review of the paper also shows that the treatments have some high level of fidelity ("Module 7: Fidelity Assessment", 2016). This with reference to the organizational element of the content and the establishment of the main ideas in the paper in context of behavioral changes (Scientific Merit Rating Scale, 2014).
