The presentation on Telehealth by Team Green is a comprehensive and informative presentation that highlights the contribution of Telehealth towards the achievement of better health care. From the presentation, I learned that it is possible for medical practitioners to discharge their duties effectively without face-to-face interactions with their patients. Patients who are disadvantaged in accessing medical services can be able to get them without getting out of their residential homes (Car, et al., 2008). The dissemination of electronic information facilitates other health services that include radiology, psychology, and pharmacy. Telehealth counters the shortfalls of office healthcare provision, where the patient is solely responsible for their health with inefficiencies attributed to the misunderstanding of treatment plans, and the lack of access to the necessary facilities required for healing (Bowles, Dykes, & Demiris, 2015).
