The most exciting idea is how individuals can turn anxiety into calmness or excitement. People can change their thoughts to focus on what makes them happy and the positive derivatives from their situations. Brooks (2014) identifies that the situations anxious people go through harm their thoughts about the future, which can be changed through encouragement and focus on optimism. Some of the experiments applied included singing, public speaking experience, and calculation performance. It is interesting to note how these varied in terms of results generated but delivered in one direction. One would ask why people have never known that it was possible to suppress anxieties and turn them into positive thoughts.
