Maternity leave is essential for all the women who work at the various places in the country. However, there is need for the women to get paid while they are on their maternity leave. We need to come up with reasons that can convince one that there is need for the women to be paid while they are on their maternity leave.
Julia, Marie Goodman. Three essays on maternity leave policies, utilization, and consequences. The University of California, Berkeley, 2015. Julia explores the various issues that relate with maternity leave. She goes further to carry out research so that she can be able to realize the differences between the women who receive maternity leave and the ones who do not receive maternity leave. The differences are highlighted according to the results that were obtained from the different studies. Julia has also explored the policies that relate to maternity leave in various parts of the world. The three essays that have been used by the author also presented an excellent source of information about different issues that relate to maternity leave that I did not previously understand. As such, I was able to formulate and present my arguments in a very clear way. The article also presents various problems that affect the maternity sector. It also contains facts that form the basis for the argument in the paper that there is need to pay the mothers who go for maternity leave in the United States.
