Further, technology leads to depletion of natural resources in a bid to meet the growing industrial demands. An example is the increased dependence on coal as a source of energy, which is among the top contributors to air pollution. The information aligns with my thesis in showing the adverse effects of industrial and technological advancements on increasing air pollution.

In addition to analyzing the respiratory problems associated with air pollution, the authors focus on the policies and government actions that have focused on air pollution reduction. The authors focus on secondary research, which involves analyzing the published articles on the topic and the article is peer-reviewed, making the conclusions concrete. It aligns with my thesis in indicating the efforts being undertaken to reduce air pollution.

The author concludes that if industrializing countries implement air pollution measures and enforce the regulations more seriously, this is likely to slow down the global warming effect, as well as carbon dioxide emission and air pollution.
