Danger, Suzan. “Adaptive Doll Play: Helping Children Cope with Change.” International Journal of Play Therapy, vol. 12, no. 1, 2003, pp. 105–116., doi:10.1037/h0088874.
According to Suzan Danger, Nora Helmer is portrayed as an ordinary housewife in A Doll’s House who aims to hide her financial issues from husband Torvald. However, when he gets to know about the deceit, Torvald becomes angry and starts disrespecting his wife. He sounds like a selfish man who does not care about his wife and urges her to leave the house. This reference is useful for my paper as the author sheds light on the life of a woman who becomes independent after separating from her husband (Danger 110).
