According to Moshe Israelashvili and Orit Wegman-Rozi, the United States has seen various ups and downs, especially at the time of the Great Depression. Military service is the best strategy this country can implement to ensure its sustainability and safety. These days, a lot of controversies are being created, and the protection and security of the country are possible only when it empowers its military service and provide the officers with all basic facilities and benefits. In times of conflicts, the military force can prevent the state from external attacks. I am willing to use this source in my research paper because it provides enough details regarding military officers should be prepared or trained to fight in the battlefield and what role they can play in the prosperity of the United States.

In this 2013 article, it has been argued that military service should be mandatory as it is the only way to survive in today’s conflicting environment. Some nations such as Mexico require a particular kind of military service from every citizen. People with serious physical and mental disorders or those who are uneducated and non-sensible are exempted from this law. It means military service is essential in countries where governments are concerned about the lives of their people. In one way or the other, they want every citizen to play his or her role in creating a peaceful internal and external environment so that the world can learn a lesson from their examples. This article is useful for my research project as it gives me enough details about how religious beliefs and physical and mental complications can cause problems for some Mexicans who want to provide their military services to the state.
