Book summary
This book offers a comprehensive coverage on single sex educational system. The author manages to exhaustively cover the advantages of the single sex system and the comparing it with the advantages of the mixed sex schools. She also covers more information about the inequalities that is being experienced in various learning institutions based on gender discrimination. She makes an argument that voluntary single-sex education is a legally acceptable option that ought to be widely available in the U.S., especially for disadvantaged children. However, she adds that the compulsory single sex education should be avoided. All students should be given equal opportunities to choose where to study depending on their preferences.
