The question of the differences between the sexes has been debated and researched for a long time. The author of the book sought to settle the question using evidence from anthropology, biology, and sociology. Using the knowledge from these sources, she debunks various myths and reaches the underlying truth. She demonstrates that the two sexes are not separate groups. On the contrary, every individual has their position on a continuous scale. She also shows that the definition of masculinity and femininity is different among different cultures.
