Annotation
Abortion is a quite sensitive issue that is associated with many concerns such as moral, religious, ethical, psychological, and social worries. It is considered an essential taboo topic that is the reason for numerous controversies and disputes in numerous countries. In this study, the occurrence of tempted abortion and sex-linked conditions has been evaluated with the help of inpatient drug user sample. For that reason, a cross-sectional study was designed that consists of samples of 616 patients and their ages were from 18 to 75. The study was conducted in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The results revealed that 27% of people have an abortion history. People who were dependent on alcohol are at higher risk to contribute to unplanned pregnancies and induced abortion. There is a need to spread awareness among the public regarding sexual health prevention programs to minimize the trend of induced abortion. I think it is a better initiative to develop an awareness in the community regarding the importance of health and risks of abortions. I am planning to discuss unplanned pregnancies and sexual and reproductive health in my final research project, as they are the key topics to evaluate the abortion subject in a detailed way. This article is very helpful to understand the vulnerability of the population because of induced abortion. There are various reasons that have been highlighted in the study to evaluate the cause of abortion. As per my point of view, the mentioned reasons for induced abortion will be very helpful to control this issue.
