Peer-reviewed journal articles include American Journal of Criminal Justice, Crime and Delinquency, Criminal Justice and Behavior, Criminology, Justice Quarterly, and MANY more. An annotated bibliography is a list of references. Each reference is followed by a brief (at least 150-word) descriptive and evaluative paragraph, the annotation. Your work should summarize, evaluate, and analyze the article. The purpose of the annotation is to inform the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and quality of the sources cited. The annotated bibliography assignment will be graded using the course-writing rubric so make sure that you use the writing rubric as a checklist to guide you.

Moreover, the UCR was not segregated by gender, so she had to make estimates which again, required additional research. It is apparent from this instance alone that Jacob excerted a lot of effort in ensuring the validity and repeatability of her research.
Jacob’s research shows that community characteristics related to social cohesiveness and social control are the highest predictors of crime commission among male youths while there is no clear predictor for female youth c...
