Goal Statement
I am technology enthusiasts who believe that proper hardware and software application can significantly solve problems that humans encounter in their daily lives. My Masters’ Degree in Metals, Jewelry, computer-aided design (CAD), and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) motivated me to pursue Learning Technologies and Media Systems (LTMS). My knowledge in three-dimensional design and printing has enabled me to understand how technology can develop devices or software that facilitate positive change in human lives. Currently, I know how to use three-dimensional design software to create different objects that can be used to solve existing problems in the real world. I do not want to watch inventors developing technologies, but I want to participate and contribute to various inventions.
Harrisburg University is the educational institution of my choice. I would want to be given an opportunity to study at Harrisburg University since I know that this school has a rigorous LTMS program, enabling students to obtain relevant skills. My understanding of learning technologies aligns with the focus of the Harrisburg University course syllabus. In particular, the learning technologies encompass the analysis of performing and learning issues and designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and managing instructional and non-instructional resources and processes that are intended to improve educational institutions and workplaces. By enrolling for a Master’s Degree of Science in LMTS, I will broaden my understanding of how technology can be applied in different fields to foster productivity and operations effectiveness, and efficiency. I want to be among Harrisburg University’s graduates who can analyze performance improvement opportunities to identify appropriate solutions and create engaging learning solutions. Moreover, I will achieve the management of knowledge via digital communication.
