Briefly describe what you have done to learn about pharmacy

Ever since I was young I have always had this burning desire in acquiring new knowledge in the field of science and the ability of science to solve a wide array of the problems that society faces today. This is evident in my understanding of science and mathematics and my current passion for Pharmacology a career. Pharmacy in essence brings together chemistry and mathematics and directly solves medical problems people face in the community. With a career in Pharmacy, doors to serve the larger community out there are opened and individuals can now actively participate in the quest for making medical access to the community. This is what challenges me as an individual to look forward to a career that will involve a life long series of lessons that shall make the community, and the world at large, a better place.
I have acquired invaluable knowledge and skills in subjects that form the basis of pharmacology that I believe will be beneficial in a career in Pharmacy. In Chemistry, for example, I learned the fundamental skill in producing well written and well articulated and illustrated results from lab experiments. After producing specific results, one should be able to modify these results if need be – a concept I am already familiar with in my line of work and my previous knowledge. I am indeed passionate about the application of logical scientific thinking and acquired knowledge of the natural set of laws involved in the analysis and problem resolution in the field of pharmacy. My ability to effortlessly grasp the basic concepts of chemistry and my enthusiasm in carrying out these tasks is one thing that drives my aspirations to focus on achieving this goal.
I enjoy the application of logical scientific thinking and knowledge of natural laws to analyze and solve problems occurring in Pharmacy. The practical side of chemistry involving laboratory work was my main interest in this subject and would like to continue this work in helping others.
