Rutgers University and I share a common mission and vision. Like the Rutgers University, I crave for success not only in academics but also in life after school and the fact that RU is considered as one of the most successful institutions in the United States makes it a perfect place to be. RU is known as a place of possibilities where students seeking for success are warmly welcomed and I believe that it is the right place for me to keep my success journey alive. In fact, it is this drive for success that brought me to Fordham University where I had the opportunity to participate for the first time in a full-length research experiment in economics an management and I got engaged and I actually loved it. I learnt about innovations and important developments in the field of economics and management – a fact that vindicated my desire to do more research and become acquainted with relevant knowledge in economics and management. This is the same zeal that has pushed me to seek admission at RU, which is by far a leader in research. Currently I own a small business and being an Economics major, joining RU, which has a long history of excellence in research, teaching, and service, will adequately prepare me for something groundbreaking in the near future. For this and many more reasons explicated herein I believe that a Rutgers education will help me achieve my goals.
Notably, Rutgers is located at the heart of two vibrant cities that include Camden and Philadelphia. This proximity puts me only a few minutes away from a wonderful experience and exposure to a wide array of this that the borough has to offer ranging from arts, culture, sports, and interesting history. Besides, the many companies and organizations established in these cities will provide an easy and accessible option for internship opportunities which will come in handy as far as building my professional career is concerned. I will gain the much needed experience and ideas on how to not only improve my business but to also build myself an empire. The economics faculty at Rutgers University has reliable connections for students to land on the best internships which will certainly help me grow my career and deservedly so gain relevant experience.
Based on my in-depth research, I am glad to note that RU provides one of the best learning environments for its students. Security concern is on the rise across the nation and I am aware that the campus has a well-coordinated security system that includes police patrols around the school throughout the day and night. In addition, there are cameras which deliver feeds on the campus dispatcher and phones which directly connect to the Rutgers University Police Department. Rutgers University compels its students to fight for their own opportunities and while this may be seen by others as the worst thing, to me, it is a wake-up call and most certainly the best thing I need to achieve the much needed success in my life.
