Leadership Experience that Positively Influenced and Helped Others

Discri123 I have met a silent history in the past year in our school. As being the leader of our class, I took the initiative of leading fellow students to the community outreach programs. I liaised with the local food bank with the help of the student body. We contributed almost 600 pounds of food for Thanksgiving. According to the research, disposing of VHS tapes was harmful to the environment. The organization employing people's with disabilities recycled these tapes, and our school gave many VHS tapes, almost 400. The organization gave our school more gratification than any other school, even in their community; they had not received such a contribution. As I watched our initiative benefiting the community, it showed me the power I had in leading the people.
