Reasons for Transferring to the University and the Objectives I Hope to Achieve
I have always had an interest in joining Pepperdine University. About one year ago, I visited and applied for admission into the university for the first time. I was amazed when I visited the university. The environment was a beauty to behold. The campus itself looked beautiful with beautiful hostels, cafeteria, and academic buildings. I just loved everything about the university. It looked lively, and I had a strong belief that I would feel right at home if ever I got a chance to be admitted to the university.
Pepperdine University appeals to me strongly because it is a Christian university that welcomes students of all faiths. I have had experience studying in a religious institution for I did my high school in a Roman Catholic school. My four years at the Roman Catholic school taught me a lot about religions. I am not a Roman Catholic, but I was still touched by the faith. I love learning about different religions a lot because it is my belief that religion can influence the thoughts and works of individuals and guide them on the right path towards achieving their future goals.
My reasons for seeking admission at Pepperdine University are entirely academic. I am majoring in economics, and the program is beautiful at the university. I have done well in my academics so far, and I am strongly convinced that I can meet the academic challenges at the university. I believe that I will grow at Pepperdine and your program in economics is a perfect match for my professional goals and academic interests. By transferring to the university, I believe that I will get the opportunity to immerse myself in the education system that I have admired for so long and I promise that I will take full advantage of the opportunity should it be given to me.
