Specifically, the education sector has gained tremendously from digital media and technology (Kusumawati, 2019). Technology has often been regarded as the basis of growth, and it has been adopted extensively in education. Students are now exposed to various ways in which they can use technology as part of the education process.
Internet connectivity has become very important, especially constant connectivity. The internet has made education more convenient since students can easily access tutorials and other educational materials online. It is also easier to improve in their weak areas since a learner can easily find answers online and guides which might not always be available from their teachers. New technologies, such as visuals and projectors, are also crucial. Visual images tend to have more impact in comparison to using words. Visual aids and projectors make learning easier since it makes the process exciting and more interactive (Raja & Nagasubramani, 2018). It motivates students since many of them prefer looking at appealing visuals rather than being forced to read books which can be monotonous and boring. The learning process has also become more efficient due to the new technologies.
