We live in an ever-changing world. Technology has made the imagined to become reality and people are still experimenting with its power. Currently, the field of artificial intelligence is growing at a great pace and the world should expect major changes soon. These changes will impact the world in different ways and only those who have correctly positioned themselves well will be a part of it. Individuals with backgrounds in chemistry, history, or even literature have now been given a chance to be a part of the changing world. The Master of Computer and Information Technology or MCIT program is one that gifts anyone with an interest in computer science and information technology the chance to explore and be a part of the IT world. Here, it is one’s desire, determination, and commitment that drives one toward success. No one is limited and anyone can put a pause on their career path and embark on another. The MCIT program offers people this chance and that is why I am interested in the program. For me, I want to be a part of the moving world. I do not want to see people moving while I remain behind trying to understand the movements and changes. I want to be a part of the changes, and I believe that it is only by getting acquainted with the technological world that I can be a part of this world.
I am also interested in the MCIT program because I want to make a difference in the world. Today, the people who are helping move or change the world are using technology to help spearhead their agendas. I want to make use of technology to help people. Currently, the world still has thousands of people who cannot access quality education. My goal or my ideal world has always been one where everyone can access quality education whether online or the traditional classroom system. Currently, some students are using an application called Zoom to study and attend classrooms. However, this is only limited to certain countries and mostly from developed nations.
