STATEMENT OF ACADEMIC PURPOSE
I am an undergraduate student at ******** University, School of Business pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance option. Recent research shows that businesses need to harness business data to resolve their business problems. This is one of the major reasons why I am applying for the M.S program. I have had an opportunity of working with consulting firms such as Ernst & Young Hua Ming LLP and KPMG Information Technology Services where I have observed the importance of using business data and I strongly feel that getting practical skills in this field is important. I am applying for a M.S program in Applied Analytics in Columbia University since the institution provides the learner with the context of working professionals who will help you further your knowledge and understanding to impact the real world.
