1. Thornton is an individual who has a strong mentality and belief in himself when it comes to his business undertakings. He is an entrepreneur who believes in connections since he is of the opinion that individuals tend to deal with those whom they know properly and also like in equal measures. He is an individual who spent eleven years as a professional basketball player where he made numerous connections and came to be liked and appreciated by many people. He also expands his network by associating with influential businessmen who have numerous clients and connections thus helping to increase his clientele base. He also has a philosophy that expects him to understand the business objectives of his customers and the criteria of ensuring that they get the best value that shall eventually lead to returns on their investments.
It follows that he is an individual who first of all believes in connections that increase the network that facilitates the increase of clients. According to Wallace (2009), an increased network guarantees an increase in sales since many customers tend to trust the supplier thus they are willing to associate with his products and services. The prospect of understanding the concerns of these customers and emphasizing on the quality of services and products is critical in the sense that it boosts customer loyalty and the image of the firm. It leads to increased returning customers as well as other new customers thus increasing the number of sales.
