Research Proposal Instructions:

For your final project, you will be responsible for designing a strategic communication campaign. This will involve much of the same work done on the simulation assignment. You won't have to, like, film the ad or whatever, but come up with the text, angle, etc. The actual topic and project setup will depend on people’s answers here. I may choose to have people complete individual projects, small group projects a la the simulation assignment, or a complete class project.
For this assignment, I want you to sketch out a general outline of what you might create a persuasive campaign about. Answer each of the questions below. Level of detail depends on the question, but the more the better.

1-What is the issue or topic of your campaign?
2-What is going to be your general perspective/position/argument in the campaign?
3-If distinct from #2, what are the main arguments you will use?
4-What is your primary dependent variable? Or, multiple dependent variables? Think about what success should be measured by.
5-Explain why the topic/issue is interesting to you.
6-Are you willing to work with others?
7-Identify at least three sources that will be useful for you in designing the campaign.*
