Differentiation in PC–12 Adh Cells and Reducing Interference by Proliferation

Research Proposal Instructions:

This are some of the question need to answer in the research proposal. Right now just 3 questions but afterwards will tell u to write on the continuation of assignment. i will sent u my account id and password so you can have some refrence to write from it. (on 12th feb before 11:00p.m) 600 words
The outline below can be used to help guide you through writing your Research Proposal. The areas you will need to address in the rationale are:
What is differentiation and why is it generally important?
For this project, you will be testing several concentrations of NGF to see which will cause the largest amount of differentiation in PC-12 Adh cells. Why would you want to do this? Consider the importance generally of differentiation. As noted in Lab 1, this is the point at which a cell stops proliferating, develops the particular phenotype it will maintain for the rest of its lifetime, and begins producing the proteins and other substances, e.g. neurotransmitters like adrenaline, that will allow it to do the job it needs to do in the body. This is a very complex process. What happens if something interferes with this process, and the cell continues to proliferate?
What is NGF?
Assume that your reader/funder is a biologist who does not have detailed knowledge of NGF or its effects. This person will need to understand why it has been chosen for this research. What are the known functions of this hormone (that relate to this research)?
What is PC-12? What is PC-12 Adh? What would be the advantage in using PC-12 Adh instead of PC-12?
Differentiation studies have been published using the PC-12 cell line, predominantly. If PC-12 Adh cells can be shown to respond to differentiation inducers the same as PC-12 cells, what advantage could this provide to researchers? (Hint: What is the major difference between the two cell lines?)

Differentiation in PC–12 Adh Cells and Reducing Interference by Proliferation
Introduction
Differentiation refers to the process where stem cells (cells without specific functions) are made to have specific functions. It is also a cell signaling process that is driven by hormones and transcription factors, which are protein in nature, to complete the process that increases the cells’ functional complexity and structural features (Yap et al., 2019). The practical importance of differentiation in biomedical sciences is that it helps the entire organism grow, develop, and regenerate (Yap et al., 2019). This research proposal is geared towards the determination of how nerve growth factor (NGF) concentration differences cause different levels of differentiation in PC-12 Adh cells.
Background of the Study
The purpose of this study is to determine how different nerve growth factor concentrations may cause different levels of differentiation in PC-12 Adh cells. Before dwelling within that scenario, it is important to define the nerve growth factors and PC-12 Adh cells. The nerve growth factors are the first discovered in the neurotrophin class, thus are neurotrophic and neuropeptide factors. NGFs are similar in structure to insulin and help in regulating growth, development, and maintaining the sensory nerves in sympathetic synapses and embryos. PC-12 Adh cells, on the other hand, are catecholamine-based cells that help in the synthesis, storage, and release of noradrenaline and dopamine. They are structurally different from regular PC-12 cells and also grow differently (Wiatrak et al., 2020). Therefore, the reason that this research proposal prefers the use of PC-12 Adh cells over PC-12 cells is that PC-12 Adh cells take a shorter time to differentiate (Wiatrak et al., 2020). However, PC-12 cells are more extensively utilized and carry vast knowledge regarding the conditions necessary for culture and the differentiation process (Wiatrak et al., 2020). Therefore, if PC-12 Adh cells can be shown to respond to differentiation inducers similarly to PC-12 cells, then...
