Introduction
Societies in the United States have been successful due to the presence of social institutions. Moreover, it is through the integration of these institutions efforts that has made it smooth for the societies to run themselves. Additionally, different social institutions serve different purposes in a given society. Thus it is through the efforts of these institutions that aid in the overall functioning and stability of a society. In the United States, there are major social institutions that contribute a lot to the states. In this paper I am going to focus on the social institutions in the US, their impact and the major roles that they play to the citizens.
Provide two examples of social institutions that are prevalent in American society and explain their functions.
One of the social institution in America fall under educational institutions. This is the Florida State University. This type of social institution plays a major role as it provides educational services for the students in the US. Moreover, when a state has an educational institution, it is capable of producing graduates that are well equipped with the knowledge that matches with the job market hence this is a contribution to the labor force and economic growth in the US. This is just an example of one of the educational center in the US; many others like the Ohio state university serve the same purpose.
