In the Baird Recital Hall, several musical concerts and theater activities take place. A curious audience arrived timely to secure their spaces within the hall before it overflew. Once it overflows, the people would sit outside and watch the proceedings on a screen. Nobody likes that either. So as early as thirty minutes before the time set for the occasion to begin I was within the hall. It was half full and within the next ten minutes, all the seats were occupied. The others had to sit outside. Everybody is keen on this days because of the music concert. Most are classical music played by solo pianists. The show involves soloists who play in piano and instrumentals. They are the Sonata music with three kinds planned, Sonata in three keys E, C, and F. The audiences silence communicates a determination to have a keen observation of the actors perform and do their evaluation. Most have knowledge of the songs but would love to experience the live performance. The setting is readily made for the artists.
There was one artist having allocations for many songs. The combination of Allegro and sonata is what most people are waiting. As a design, the hall has amplifiers that connect to every part of the hall and to the outside. The artist took her position to play the different songs in her playlist. The instruments had enough space to enable easy play and movement of hands. The artist moved around the stage in what appeared like her desire to kill boredom of one point action. When performing the Allegro molto e con brio, the crowd seemed charged. Their bodily movements were in rhythm with the music, taking the beats with some accurately guided consonance.
The differences during the performance came when the third songwas introduced and she decided to perform while sitting. What drew attention to the music she was playing was the somber mood that appeared to accompany the song. The people listened in wonder, with the hope that their ears could grab the slightest of sounds and changes in beats.
