The comedy film is known as Almanya-Willkommen in Deutschland released in 2011 by director Yasemin Samdereli. The major casts include; Canan, Huseyin, Fatma, Ali, Gabi, young Huseyin, young Fatma and Cenk (International Film Festival, 2012).
The movie is about a three-generation Turkish family that immigrates to Germany headed by grandfather Huseyin and their struggles to come to terms with Germany being their home, and their grandfather’s decision to visit their ‘home’ in Turkey (International Film Festival, 2012).
