Jewish Orthodox Culture is a subset of Jewish culture that includes Jewish observance and study. The Jewish communities do not follow other forms of Judaism, including Reform Judaism or Conservative Judaism. The communities are also strongly connected to their tradition through daily prayer, rituals, food preparation, and other customs. These traditions play a major role in distinguishing them from other cultures worldwide. The word Orthodox can mean the Orthodox brand of Judaism and the daily observance of what many people term as strict Judaism. The ultra-Orthodox practice of Judaism takes place differently depending on where the sects are located. This practice includes specific rituals and prayers performed each day, rules about food preparation, and adherence to Jewish laws interpreted by ancient scholars and rabbis over centuries.
Some orthodox communities do not share similar practices, but some of the practices ought to be shared by all the communities. Among the basic practices shared by all ultra-orthodox communities are holidays. These communities have specific days to mark their holidays. Every Jewish is expected to celebrate accordingly as an honor to their culture during these days. Although it is not a requirement of Orthodox Jews, many observe the Jewish holidays, known as Shabbat, to keep the sabbath day holy.
