Personally, I think that the map should include a layer of zoning for the target city. This layer can then be used to select the most suitable zoned areas; within those areas, the places where adults live and where the rental markets are present are easy to be found. If the existing land is filtered using some specific software or tool, then it would be easy for us to plan the premises of segregated land and zoning which is often criticized for its low-density development and poor aesthetic quality buildings. The existing land use planning practices are prone to the over-consumption of peripheral land. In the meantime, the price of infrastructures and public services for the extended urbanized area is too high to be afforded. If my real estate company asks me to produce maps that show how this area has been changed over time, then I will first require information regarding what is the budget for the project, what their expectations are, and how soon they want me to complete the work.
