Then make a comparison with the policies of the United States, especially after the intervention in the Pacific War. Continue your comparison after 1949, charting the PRC alliance with the Soviet Union up to the 1960s, and then the overtures to the USA in the early 1970s, and contextualize them within the foreign policy set by Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Lin Biao, and the period of opening under Deng Xiaoping and his successors up to Xi Jinping.
