Physical inactivity has been regarded as a critical health issue that should be addressed among old adults with depression in rehabilitation centered. In order to help adults in the rehabilitation center who are suffering from depression, it has become critical for the health care center to implement effective organizational policies that would make it possible to manage and take care of individuals with depression. One of the organization’s major goals is to capacitate nurses and other healthcare practitioners to equip them with the competence needed to take care of depressed patients and improve their mental health through non-pharmacological interventions. Additionally, the healthcare organization has also activated physical activity programs in the rehabilitation center, and they are aimed at helping individuals with depression to manage their moods and reduce the depressive symptoms. Moreover, the facility also aims at promoting institutionalize-based training and counseling to adults with depression and those at high risk of acquiring the condition and provide them with effective self-management methods to control depression and other related conditions. This literature examines some of the key objectives of the proposed intervention in managing depression among adults in the rehabilitation center.
