The Progressive Movement
The progressive movement will be explained in the paper including its contributions to society. It will also give information about the leaders of the movement and the ideas they instilled.
The progressive movement existed to provide effort in curing a lot of the problems in America’s society which started during the rise of industrial growth during the last quarter of the 19th century. Based on U-History, it is a time when the taming of frontiers occurred, there was a development of cities and businesses (2016). This led to the establishment of international businesses, but not all citizens took part in the optimism, wealth, and prestige that the progressive movement brought.
Majority of the progressives aimed to eradicate the corruption in the government and muckrakers started to exist.
