China boasts of the world’s leading research and development in husbandry, aquaculture, and agriculture. Although China’s agricultural output is the largest in the world, “the sector suffers greatly from uneven development across geographical regions.” (Veeck, Gregory, & Clifton 246). The significant change affects both technologies and products in most parts of China. Most scholars refer to China as a country that has a deficit in natural resources. For example, the water resource is only 30% of the global average. China’s agricultural sector seems threatened by the lack of natural resources, and the Chinese Government has come up with measures to protect the ‘land use production system.’
